Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide specialized support for PreK students across multiple early childhood centers. This role involves itinerant services within a K-12 school district, delivering high-quality speech and language therapy during a maternity leave contract.
Location: Ringgold, GA
Duration: December 22, 2025 April 6, 2026 (approximate, with flexibility for transition)
Schedule: Full-time (37.540 hours per week)
Setting: Onsite services at approximately 4-5 daycare locations within the district (Head Start South and North)
Caseload: Primary caseload consisting of 13 students with IEP case management responsibilities for about 39 students total
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to PreK students across multiple daycare sites
- Manage IEPs, ensuring compliance and progress documentation for assigned caseload
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
- Travel to designated daycares daily to provide consistent, onsite intervention
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license
- Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) SLP Educator Certificate
- Experience in school-based SLP services, preferably with PreK-aged children
- Ability to manage itinerant caseload effectively while maintaining thorough documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
